One attempt led to a lifelong friendship
Palawan is a tourist city that attracts many tourists from all over the world, but many roads have not been completed, which has affected the local economic development. Mr. Demaala is an important government official in Palawan, Philippines, and he is very eager to help with local road construction.
When he contacted us, he faced four huge problems:
- The stones are very hard. Most of the stones are river pebbles. The hardness of river pebbles is high, so the durability requirements of the crusher are higher
- The crusherneeds to be movable. The distribution of river stones is random, and the project needs to change sites frequently
- The sand needs to be cleaned. Some rivers have a high mud content. If the sand is not cleaned, it cannot be sold
- The sea freight is high. Since Palawan Island is an island and there is no international port, it is inconvenient to transport equipment. The freight for a container is very high
How we solved it:
- The stone is hard. This problem is the simplest part for us WELLINE. We are the factory. When the stone is very hard, the jaw crusher and cone crusher are the best choices. They are durable and the wearing parts need to be replaced only after a long time.
- The site where the customer uses the crusher is not stationary, so we recommend a mobile crushing station with tires, which is more convenient to move. It is equipped with a traction steering shaft and can be moved by the truck head for easy road transportation.
- The mobile crusher is equipped with a hydraulic structure, which can control the lifting and lowering of the equipment with one button (10 minutes) to simplify the movement and fixation of the equipment.
- The mud content is high, so we customized a water spray device on the vibrating screening machine based on the original 4-in-1 mobile crusher, which can remove the mud during the screening process. In addition, a spiral sand washer is added to clean the screened sand.
- The container freight is high. Our mobile stone crusher can be loaded into the container. The heavy body structure of many companies’ ship-type is adjusted to a light H-shaped steel structure, which reduces the width and can be loaded into the container, greatly reducing the transportation cost and saving money for customers.
After half a year of communication and investigation, we finally confirmed the tire-type mobile crusher, the crushing method of jaw crusher + fine jaw crusher, and the cleaning method of spiral sand washing machine.
Requirements:
- Capacity: 50 tons per hour
- Raw materials: 300mm, river pebbles
- Finished products: 0-30mm (0-5mm, 5-10mm, 10-20mm, 20-30mm)
- Basic requirements: mobile, sand needs to be cleaned
Recommend:
- GZD850x3000 vibrating feeder (grate type): By using a feeder with screening function, smaller river pebbles can be screened out at first stage, reducing the throughput and crushing amount of the first jaw crusher, thereby enhancing production efficiency. Stone larger than the set gap size will enter the PE400*600 jaw crusher for primary crushing.
- Primary crusher: PE400*600 jaw crusher, the production capacity required by the customer is 50TPH, and the raw material is river stone (high hardness). Therefore, the PE400*600 jaw crusher (with stronger crushing capacity and more stable use) is selected to crush the 300mm raw material to obtain gravel below 60mm. Because the finished gravel size requirement is 0-30mm, the size larger than the required size will enter the PEX jaw crusher for secondary crushing.
- Secondary crusher: PEX250*1000 jaw crusher. It can crush the stone larger than the finished product size for the second time to meet the customer’s finished product requirements. This model is also a jaw crusher, with the same working principle, but the opening is longer, and it can crush 0-30mm gravel.
- Screening machine: 3YZS1237 vibrating screen, the gravel that meets customer needs is screened out and transported to the pile through the conveyor belt. And through screening, the gravel that does not meet customer needs can be screened out and transported to the crusher through the conveyor belt for secondary crushing. The screening capacity is stronger and it is more stable to use.
- The spiral sand washing machine is added under the vibrating screen. After the screened sand is cleaned by the spiral sand washing machine, it is very clean and meets the high standard requirements of concrete.

At the beginning, I was most worried about the quality of their company’s equipment. I often go to China to purchase various equipment, and even many government equipment are purchased from China. I am familiar with international trading, but I am not familiar with WELLINE.
I know that China has some very top brands, such as: XCMG, Sany, and SBM. But their crushers are really too expensive. Buying such an expensive crusher, but the price of the crushed gravel is still the same, and the profit is actually the same. Then Why invest more?? I need to find a reliable and reasonably priced Chinese factory to cooperate with.
Through communication with the sales manager of WELLINE MACHINERY, I feel that they can be trusted. The first thing I feel is that they are very professional. They provide solutions to the problems I care about, and also provide multiple certificates.
In 2017, they went to the Philippines to participate in the exhibition. After further communication at the exhibition, we had dinner together. Their boss (second from left) and sales manager (first from left) are both very good people.
In 2018, I took my wife and children to China to visit their factory. Everything was just as they said. It was a real factory. Unlike some international trade companies, they would take you to visit other factories and make a profit from the price difference. I don’t like trading companies, so in the end I reached an agreement with WELLINE and placed the order.
My decision was not wrong. The equipment was produced as expected in the contract. I received pictures of the equipment production progress from the WELLINE sales manager every week, which made me feel very relieved. That’s what I need! After the equipment arrived, WELLINE sent an experienced engineer to help install it (in white T-shirt), which was really helpful. Many Chinese factories have cheap equipment, but there are always many problems with installation and production, which is the most troublesome. But WELLINE is trustworthy. After a period of operation, I found that WELLINE MACHINERY equipment runs very stably. In the production, they called many times to inquire about the operation of the equipment. It is really a responsible company.
In 2023, the local government needed to purchase another crusher, so I chose WELLINE again and visited the WELLINE factory in China. This time, I was received by Melvin (the boss’s son). He was studying in the United States when I came last time. His English is very good. Now he has returned to the factory to help his father. We communicated very smoothly. He graduated from the mechanical Engineering major and always understood my needs accurately and provided professional suggestions. We got along very well.
What was even more surprising was that compared to previous business negotiations, getting along with young people was always full of joy. In the evening, Melvin invited me to drink Glenfiddich Whisky, which is rare in China. Most bosses would arrange Chinese liquor with an alcohol content of 52%, which is really deadly. After dinner, Melvin invited me to experience a Chinese bar, and we had a very happy time in the bar. It was great to experience the bar life of young Chinese people!
Of course I brought them a gift, a mysterious gift from Japan. Only men can understand.
